‘You obviously aren’t interested in my problems!’


Jurgen Klopp was not impressed with a Spanish reporter’s query regarding the possibility of giving Real Madrid’s Luka Modric a new contract, quickly shutting them down with an abrupt response.

Following Liverpool’s humbling 5-2 loss to Spanish giants and reigning European Champions Real Madrid, a reporter asked Jurgen Klopp if he would be giving Luka Modric a new contract. The German manager sternly shot down the question.

Liverpool went in level at the half-time break after Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah had put them two goals up, with Vinicius Jr responsible for Real’s two goals. Despite not finding the net himself, Modric, at the grand old age of 37, still managed to boss the midfield, even impressing with his performance against 18-year-old Reds prodigy, Stefan Bajcetic.
